Hungry Wiggles 1.3


After a hiatus (during which I was following some online classes, so no "dead time" there), I came back to this first game and made a few changes!

I have made a few visual changes to the title screen, and I have added a volume slider to allow the player to change the volume prior to starting a game. I have also made some further "under the hood" changes which don't change much in terms of performance, but improve the code nonetheless (especially, I have tried to avoid over-using public variables as much as I can).

In terms of gameplay, I have added a few "levels"; for now, what this means is that the speed will increment progressively (every ten seconds at the moment), and I have tweaked the spawning rate and likelihood of certain items. I think the new speed system should also contribute to alleviating some of the motion sickness effect.

I have yet to implement power-ups and healing items, but this is mostly because I don't currently have the assets I want to use for this purpose. However, I plan to take a break from this project for the moment and tweak some of the other games I have worked on as part of the online course I took, so I can post them here too. So, look forward to some new stuff!
